While completing the Google UX/UI Design program, I created a dog foster care app called Homeward Hound, inspired by my personal experience as a dog foster. Although my own fostering journey didn’t go as planned (I adopted the dog), it gave me a deeper appreciation for the challenges and rewards that come with helping dogs find homes. I designed the app to support and guide foster caregivers through the process, using bold, friendly colors and approachable typography to create a warm, welcoming experience. From naming the app to developing its full visual identity and interface, I built a cohesive brand focused on compassion, clarity, and helping dogs find their way home.
